Design Screws Ltd recognises and accepts that concern for the environment is both an integral and fundamental part of the Company’s business strategy.
With an active programme of continuous improvement, we will seek to reduce our impact on the environment to the lowest practicable minimum. We recognise our responsibilities through a positive policy on workplace safety, prevention of pollution and care for the local environment. Any potential risk of pollution from our activities and products will be assessed and either eliminated or effectively controlled.
Careful consideration will be given to the elimination or minimisation of waste and, where practicable, the recycling or reuse of materials. Transport and disposal of waste will be carried out in a responsible manner with due regard to environmental considerations.
We will seek to assess the environmental hazards associated with all materials supplied by third parties to DSL.
We will seek to take account of environmental issues when dealing with any potential acquisition or investment.
The Managing Director and Management team of DSL will review, formalise, and endorse this Policy on a regular basis to ensure compliance with all environmental legislative and governmental requirements.
This statement will be brought to the attention of all employees, suppliers, and contractors. Environmental objectives and targets are formulated and reviewed to implement the policy.
